libimdb-film-perl software package provides Perl extension for retrieving movie info from IMDB.com, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libimdb-film-perl
libimdb-film-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libimdb-film-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libimdb-film-perl *
You will get with libimdb-film-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
